The reliability of the system is greatly improved compared to traditional systems, and each pair of alarms uses an ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit), eliminating any reliance on a common control card. The standard case is a copper-free cast alloy with a light grey two-part epoxy finish, ideal for offshore applications.
